Who are we?
Munsterpreneur Initiative Inc.(MII.NwkNJ501c3) is a NJ nonprofit organization that has been implementing social programs in Newark, NJ’s poverty stricken communities since 2015. Our culture/model is one of, come back and give back, which perpetuates our alumni to become assets in their community, by way of example and/or mentorship. As of April 2022 Munsterpreneur Initiative Inc. has obtained nj 501c3 status, which allows all donations/support to be covered as a tax write-off
What do we do?
Munsterpreneur Initiative Inc. partners with community members/organizations to provide mentoring/ training in economically viable industries. These fields include, but are not limited to… CDL training, audio engineering, film editing and directing, plumbing, auto collisions repair, cosmetology and more… We provide life skills training, coupled with streamlined resources/information to best fit individual needs. We drill all clients on the value of group economics (It takes a village).
Why?
Munsterpreneur Initiative Inc. acknowledges poverty as a blight on humanity, not an individual. Over 80% of crimes committed in urban environments are poverty crimes …ie robbery, drugs and violence that stems from being economically oppressed. With homelessness and mental illness on a incline, MII.NwkNJ501c3 has declared a war on poverty. We recognize poverty as a root cause in too many issue to ignore. We’ve been fighting poverty through community engagement, social advocacy, and streamlined social programming. We believe that group economics will be our most effective weapon in this war against poverty. Dare to dream, dare to fight…. It takes a village!
